...ghost in the machine...

Mix 1-part ghostly vocals with 2-parts minimal techno and you get nearly the definition of "dance music to sit down to". Today's post features Alex Smoke's new album, which is heavy on the minimalism, yet keeps enough of a kick in it's step to keep your ear tight. The second cut is from one of '04's best albums, 'Moving On' by Hird. While the selection is definitely fit for the dancefloor, this hard to find album as a whole is surprisingly ambient and textural.
