Just a single piece of sweet goodness today. But it's a long one. I'll admit my affinity for redheads and belters, so Nikka (daughter of Don) Costa pretty much fits my fantasy. She's got sick dance moves and great looks, if only her vocals were just a smidge stronger (sorry, it's true). Still, talent takes you only so far, and shear effort and guts are what you need to get truly noticed. Elaborating on one of the best songs from her 2001 album of the same name, this live recording exemplifies Nikka's inner power. Thanks to The Smudge for gettin' it to me. Nearly 10 full minutes of funk.
