Holy Mother of God! You, my friend, have an incredible blog! I can't believe you don't have more comments in response to your posts. I can only assume that people are unaware of the site's existence… Myself included. Until tonight, that is.
Now I've just spent the last two + hours downloading great album after great album. I don't care much for the disco, but, man, the soul is incredible. Already, I've picked up Gwen McCrae, Creative Source, The Main Ingredient, Valerie Simpson, Ten Wheel Drive, Smith and Terry Callier (which, incidentally, you have spelled "Caller" - not that I'm complaining).
Incidentally, you wouldn't happen to have any early Terry Callier, would you? I'm desperate for What Color is Love? and Lookin' Out. Or even The New Folk Sound.
Anyway, thanks again for your incredible generosity. Really nice job, man.
Prog rock for people who hate the genre, with Manzanera, Eno and some cool compositions pushing at boundaries without showing off. Very cool stuff. Thanks for all your efforts!
Much appreciated! I haven't heard this album in over a quarter of a century - since I'd lost possession of my own copy, somewhere along the way of Life.
