A new year starts a new beginning...

I am officially closing this blog down. I am bored with the constraints I have put on myself in regards to content.

I am starting something brand new. It will be a mixture of everything that interests me. Including new and old music, fashion, video, politics and world events, etc.

Please place a bookmark on

I still plan on posting entire albums that I've ripped from my vinyl collection. I haven't changed tastes, so expect the same mixture of soul, jazz and rock from the 60's and 70's.

I will leave this page up and living for as long as I can. So you'll still be able to download whatever links are still alive.

I have received some requests recently to re-post some of the dead links. Sadly, since I lost my hard drive, many of these recordings are no longer with me. So, does anyone have the albums: Eric Mercury - Love Is Taking Over & Smith - Minus/Plus? Thanks in advance for the help.

If anyone has any other requests, I encourage you to post a comment and hopefully someone will fill it.

Your rip of the out-of-print Eric Mercury album can be found on :

I have used your usual password.

Thank you so very much for introducing us unknowns out here to all that wealth of rare material over the years. I, for one, have made an amazing number of discoveries through your blog and will be eternally grateful to you for that.

I just found this blog and it's gone.

Story of my life. Always too late.

I'll bookmark the new site.

And a very large thanks to jomo for the Smith album and to the original ripper/poster for sharing. Gayle McCormick rocks!! I had that album on vinyl back in the day and it has never been released on cd that I know of. I have never seen it anywhere on the net. A GREAT stroke of luck for me to get it. There are only a couple of albums that I really look for besides Smith / Gale McCormick solo albums. I don't have a half a dozen albums on my wish list and you have filled one.

I owe you a big thanks for opening my ears up to new (though old) music. I love vinyl and have more than 3K+ records but none on vinyl from the records you have ripped for us.
Thanks a million mate!
Cheers from the UK!
